Is WAVO only mobile mechanics?
No. WAVO is a full vehicle services platform. We cover mobile mechanics, repair shops, towing, roadside assistance (jump-starts, lockouts, fuel delivery, flat tires), and diagnostics. You pick the type of service you need — we handle the rest.
How does it work?
Open the WAVO app, tell us what's wrong (or upload a photo for AI-assisted diagnostics), pick the type of service, review your matched pro and itemized estimate, and approve. From there you can track them live and chat in-app until the job is complete.
Can I get a tow with WAVO?
Yes. WAVO dispatches verified tow operators with upfront pricing and live ETA. You choose where you want the vehicle towed — home, a shop on WAVO, or any address you specify.
Can I use a repair shop instead of a mobile mechanic?
Yes. WAVO partners with vetted repair shops in addition to mobile mechanics. When you book a service, you can compare both options — including ratings, response times, and prices — and choose what works best.
Is pricing really transparent?
Yes. Every WAVO job comes with an itemized estimate — parts, labor, fees, and taxes — that you must approve before any work starts. No surprise charges, no haggling at the end. If anything changes mid-job, the pro must request your approval first.
Can I track my service in real time?
Yes. WAVO gives you live status updates, GPS tracking of your mechanic or tow operator, and in-app chat from "on the way" all the way to "service complete." You'll know exactly where things stand at every step.

Yes. Independent mobile mechanics, repair shops, and tow operators can all apply to join WAVO. We send ready-to-pay customers and include built-in tools for estimates, parts ordering, digital invoices, and customer chat. Payouts hit your account next business day.
How do I sign up?
Drivers sign up in the WAVO app — it's free, and only takes a minute. Pros apply by tapping Become a Mechanic on the homepage or in the app and completing a short verification process (license, insurance, background check).
Is WAVO available everywhere?
WAVO is expanding quickly across the United States. Coverage depends on local provider availability — open the app to see what's available in your area. If WAVO isn't live near you yet, we'll let you know when it is.
